Osprey Atmos AG 65L

Osprey Atmos Ag 65L pack has been the backpacking choice for consecutive years. This pack provides durability and comfort that can last for many miles to come.

Starting with the hip belt, it’s designed to hug your hips giving you more support and comfort while on the trail. It also has the capability of adjusting to your waist size by the extensions that Velcro to the inside of the belt. Also, the belt has zipper pockets on each side to store smaller gear or some snacks along the way.

Moving toward the back paneling, the mesh is actually away from the back creating a better ventilation system (hence AG for anti gravity). The mesh also helps form to your back better too. To dial in the perfect fit for your torso length, the mesh panel can be adjusted for superior comfort.

For those trips you don’t need the whole 65 L, the top lid can be removed to help save on some weight. The top lid has 2 big zipper pockets to store some larger items or extra food for easier access.

The main compartment has a water bladder pocket to accommodate up to a 3L reservoir as well as a large area to fit all heaviest gear closer to your back. The outside of the main compartment has a zipper pocket on each side that goes fairly deep down to store taller items. It also has a separate sleeping bag compartment at the bottom to organize your gear a little easier.

This pack has been by far the best one I have ever owned. By no means is it considered ultralight but if you are carrying 20 to 30 pounds, it’s worth the investment. This is my go to pack whether I’m out for the night or extended trip. I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like to sacrifice comfort while on the trail.
