The Archer one man tent is a light, durable and a good constructed tent with a great price point. This tent has served me well for the last two seasons in the back country and has many features of pricier tents. It’s spacious and waterproof. One of my favorite features is the dual zippered large opening on both sides of the tent, which is a feature you typically only find in higher end tents.
It has a 190t polyester outer shell, double-layer, rip-stop, waterproof nylon bottom. The frame poles are made from aircraft-grade aluminum. It comes with a durable soft carrying case and easily fits in or outside your pack. There are plenty of openings to get good air circulation from the vents in the top of the rain fly to the zippered screened side opening. You will find a small pocket to store small items on each side of the tent. I can easily fit in this tent at a height of 5′ 11″, although if your taller than 6′ 2″ you may want to keep hunting for another tent. I have no problem stowing clothes and other items next to me. There is also a handy loop dead center inside the top of the tent that makes a great spot to hang a small light.
Overall I would give this tent high marks for not only the construction, but the features and outstanding price point which is right around $100.00. You can visit their website at http://www.archerog.com
